ღ Thinking of You Wherever You Are ღ


The name kinda inspired from Kingdom Hearts 8'3 Sorry about that. Anyway. I've noticed people getting down again so I thought I'd make another meme! SORRY IF YOU'RE ALL SICK OF THEM. This is purely my way of making the greatest number of people happy. Even those I don't know, thank you all for participating.

So. With the US Thanksgiving in a few weeks, I thought of making one a little similar to the holiday. You comment with your username and what you're thankful for. Then your friends will thank you for whatever. Being funny, being genuine and kind, anything.

I'm thankful that I've lived such a great, fun life and had the ability to be as carefree as I am, and make such great friends. if it wasn't for them I have no idea where I'd be right now, or what I'd be doing. both my rl friends and lj friends mean so much to me and I'm so glad I've met you all. even if we're not that close talking to you all makes my day, and I'm so thankful that I didn't make a huge mistake and leave lj forever

The chance to take all of the pain from my pride, from the hatred, prejudism, rejection and fear I have ever felt, turn it into love, and spread it all over the world. I'm thankful for humanity for allowing me to open my heart to it regardless of whether it wants to accept me or not.

I am thankful for all my friends, from then and now, for supporting me and letting me know that I count and that I can make an impact on someone's life. I am, surprisingly, thankful for my crazy Asian parents who administered corporal punishment when I was young in that it has made me less of a brat.

Everyone who is currently in my life, and even those that aren't. My friends. My family. People I've only met a few times that have left a lasting impact.

They help me realize what I want to do with myself and my life. They're there to keep me in line when I act out. They're always offering me valuable advice, and on some occasions offering me a place to stay when I feel like I have to get away. As for the people who aren't in my life anymore, sometimes I wish they were. But I think I learned a valuable lesson from losing them, so strangely enough I have to thank you anyway.

With each year that passes I'm reminded why I'm not grown, merely growing, and I have all these people to thank. I've taken bits and pieces from everyone I've met and changed them and molded them into something that is simply me. I feel like just saying thank you isn't enough, because it won't make anyone understand just how much they mean to me. Without all the people I love, I don't think I'd even be here.

Until I find the right words to say to everyone, thank you. Thank you so much.

I'm thankful for being able to meet all the people I've met, and being able to learn many valuable lessons from each and every one of them. I'm thankful to have heard many opinions, and had the chance to put in my own. For the good things in life, because they make me happy, and for the not-so-good ones, because overcoming them makes me stronger of a person.

I'm thankful for being able to, at least once in my life so far, put a smile upon somebody's face. I'm thankful that I can't be sad whenever someone close to be is happy.

I'm [info]sammywhatammy. I know I complain a lot about bad situations that I get myself into, but I'm really and truly grateful for a lot of things.

I'm grateful for the few things that my mom did right. I'm grateful that I have the most incredible best friend in the entire world. I would follow him to the ends of the earth. I'm grateful that a former best friend let me visit her at college, so that I would know of it, visit her, and fall completely head over heels in love with the school myself. I'm grateful that I worked hard and got in. I'm grateful for being here; I can't imagine being anywhere else. I fucking adore my college. I'm grateful for all the people who believed in me over the years, who taught me and supported me and struggled with and for me, and essentially helped me get to where I am today.

Mostly I'm grateful for all my friends. Online and in real life. Gerry, my best friend, most of all. I can't imagine life without him. My "little sisters," my trouble trio. Actually I'm just grateful for everything I have: a home, food to eat, shelter, friends, family, love, my education, the fact that I have a job and I have money, the fact that I'm pretty stable in some areas of my life and most of all the fact that I'm ALIVE. I could go on and on about what I'm thankful for but seriously I'm just thankful for everything I have! Sometimes, it might not seem that way but I really am thankful for everything! ^__^

[info]roxidoo is quite thankful for everything she has right now. Even though it might not have been easy to get where she is, she's happy that she was able to over come the obstacles and retain the good things. She's even more thankful for all of her friends, many of which have moved out of state for school - but they haven't failed to keep in touch. The friends that were never in her state to begin with are loved just as much. She is thankful for being able to have such amazing and strong bonds.

I think the question to be asking is...what am I not thankful for? I've got wonderful friends supporting me in my endeavor to change for the better. My family loves me, and I have a beautiful baby niece that's going to be a month old on the 18th. I do good in school, and I've managed to find a place where the social lines are so blurred, they're nonexistent. I'm such a blessed child, and I don't think I stop to realize if often enough.

These guys are some of the most amazing people in this world. Every last one of them. I love them all and I don't think I convey it near often enough at all. They put up with so much and all these memes. I really...just don't know where I'd be if I hadn't met a lot of them.
